The Pole Barn is an open-air, timber-frame pavilion set among century-old live oaks west of Austin. It was built simply, for gathering: post and beam, open sides, a roofline that lets the Hill Country light in.

The Pole Barn at the Vineyard
In 2007, the telephone poles on Bee Creek Road and connecting roads were being replaced. We struck a deal: if we hauled off the old poles, we could keep them. The recycled poles were placed on a vineyard across from a church. Thus, the Pole Barn at the Vineyard was created!
